Our own packed Quality Barley Straw is dust extracted and it is left in longer strands for the same reason as the hay, to maintain nutrient levels and benefit dental wear. which will keep their teeth healthy.

Crofters Straw can be used as bedding for your small animals and pets although be aware, we do not recommend for guinea pigs as the long strands can injure their eyes

Use liberally in the bedding area, the hollow strands give good insulation during the cold nights.

We recommend quality hay is always available for your pet and should make up around 80% of their diet.

Fresh water should always be available.
